Practice

Deborah is an associate at Meggesto, Crossett & Velerino, LLP who has practiced family and matrimonial law for over 16 years. Her general practice has included adoptions, trusts and estates, criminal, real estate and civil law.

Previously, she has acted as a per diem attorney for the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services and as the Assistant County Attorney for Steuben County, for which her responsibilities included the prosecution of Juvenile Delinquents and Persons in Need of Supervision. She represented the Steuben County Department of Social Services and assisted in the prosecution of various county related tax and civil issues. Deborah has also practiced civil litigation, specifically personal injury claims, insurance defense and subrogation.

Deborah is a member of the CNY Collaborative Family Law Professionals, the Onondaga County Law Guardian Panel, and the Onondaga County Bar Association, of which she is also on the Child Support Panel.
