Practice

Family Law attorney, Patricia L. DeRue, has been admitted to practice in New York for 19 years and has concentrated her practice in the areas of Family and Matrimonial Law for the past 17 years. Her law practice includes both contested and uncontested divorce, as well as family law issues such as child support, spousal support, custody and equitable distribution. Since 2004, Patricia has incorporated the use of the Collaborative Law process into her practice to afford her clients the choice of as many options as possible to reach decisions that will impact their lives for years to come. She also handles vehicle and traffic cases, wills and estates, and residential real estate closings.

Professional and Community Involvement

Patricia L. DeRue, Esq. is the past president and current member of the CNY Collaborative Family Law Professionals. Since 1997 she has been the Town Justice for the Town of Elbridge, which offers a dual perspective as both a lawyer and a judge. She is a member of New York State Bar Association, Onondaga County Bar Association, New York State Magistrates Association, and the Onondaga County Magistrates Association.
