NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker
About Jodie Wilson:
Jodie is a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in Syracuse and Rochester. She enjoys working with couples and helping them learn the skills and techniques necessary to deepen their understanding of one another and strengthen their relationship. With couples that have decided to dissolve their relationship, she is dedicated to helping them develop a plan that focuses on providing the best possible outcome as the family transitions through this process. When couples are able to identify common goals, discuss underlying concerns and motivations, and work through conflict in a productive and respectful manner they can achieve outcomes that help create a more positive future for themselves and their children.
Professional and Community Development:
Prior to opening her practice in 2007, Jodie worked for ARISE and most recently as Executive Director of Ophelia’s Place, a non-profit dedicated to serving individuals and families impacted by eating disorders. Her full time practice includes seeing couples and also individuals struggling with issues related to trauma, depression and other related concerns.
Jodie holds memberships in the National Association of Social Workers and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals
