About Tanya Pellettiere:
Tanya Pellettiere, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice working with children, adolescents, and their families. She is also a psychologist and adjunct faculty member SUNY Upstate with the Golisano Center for Special Needs. In the past, Dr. Pellettiere has worked as a psychologist in a variety of other settings, including a middle school, a county health agency, alternative school placements, and residential treatment for children.
Whereas her main specialty is in anxiety, she uses a positive, resilience-based approach to help children with a range of concerns. She feels strongly that children will do well if they can. Positive reinforcement is crucial in raising children but we have to make sure that our kids have the adaptive coping skills they need to be successful in life.
