About Lisa Fahey:
With 20 years of matrimonial and family law experience, Lisa serves clients in Onondaga, Madison and Cayuga counties on matters ranging from premarital agreements, adoptions, paternity, and protective proceedings to complex divorce and custody matters. She distinguishes herself by seeking solutions best suited to the needs of her clients, whether through litigation, settlement or Collaborative Law. Lisa has served as an Attorney for the Child in the Fourth Judicial Department for almost her entire legal career and was the recipient of the prestigious Dillon Award in 2007. Lisa provides Collaborative Law representation as a welcome alternative to traditional court and litigation practice most commonly used by divorcing couples. She encourages mutual respect, placing the needs of the children first, and maintaining control of the process and the outcome with the spouses. Lisa is a member of the New York State and Onondaga County bar associations and the CNY Collaborative Family Law Professionals, Inc. where she previously served for many years as Treasurer. She was also Chair of the Family Law Section of the Onondaga County bar association and a member of its Board of Directors.
