About Leonard E. Gerber:
Leonard is employed in the accounting firm of Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC. He earned a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Syracuse University. He holds three professional certifications: CPA – Certified Public Accountant from the University of the State of New York Education Department; CVA –“Certified Valuation Analyst”, from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA); and ABV – “Accredited in Business Valuation” from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Leonard devotes approximately 90% of his time to the field of forensic accounting for the divorce process. As such he has prepared reports that have valued closely-held businesses and professional practices. In addition he has been retained several times to trace a party’s separate property claims. He has been accepted as an expert witness by various local judges in Supreme Court and Family Court.

Leonard has lectured for the New York State Bar Association, the Onondaga County Bar Association, Cayuga County Bar Association, the CNY Collaborative Law Professionals and the National Business Institute.
