About Richard Ranucci:
Rick is the Partner in Charge of Valuation and Litigation Support Services with the accounting firm of Ranucci, Dalton & Schenk CPAs, P.C. (formerly known as Port & Company, CPAs). Rick holds two professional certifications; CPA – Certified Public Accountant, licensed to practice by the State of New York; CVA- Certified Valuation Analyst from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Rick is a member of the American institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) and the CNY collaborative Family Law professionals, Inc.

For over 30 years, Rick has represented thousands of clients in litigation matters, including but not limited to matrimonial actions, income, estate and gift tax litigation, corporate litigation (including the settling of shareholder disputes) and support hearings. He has prepared valuation reports of closely held businesses, appreciation of separate property, valuation of stock options and restricted stock units and the results of forensic accounting studies. In addition, Rick has authored reports calculating the true and correct income for support purposes to be used in the calculation of spousal maintenance and child support.

Rick has been appointed as the court’s expert valuator, and court’s expert in addition to working for the State of New York Attorney Grievance Committee 5th Judicial District. He has been the agreed-upon Valuation and Forensic Accounting Expert in many matrimonial cases. He has been accepted as an expert witness by various judges, and hearing examiners throughout New York State.  Rick is also an Adjunct Professor at Syracuse University in the Whitman School of Management along with being a frequent lecturer for many organizations.
